PROJECT OBJECTIVES

PROJECT MISSION

To strengthen the capacity of orphans in order to reduce their vulnerability to various forms of violence, abuse, exploitation and HIV/AIDS infection by enabling acquire education and have access to good education.

 

PROJECT GOAL

To improve the quality of life, and restore the dignity of orphans and destitute children and ensuring that they have access to care and support to facilitate their survival in a holistic manner.

6.0 BROAD OBJECTIVES

i)                    Enable OVCs orphans/other vulnerable children feel accepted and part of the society through access of quality education.

ii)                  Effectively support the right of children including right to protection from abuse and exploitation.

iii)                Support 50 orphans/ OVCs access quality education.

REACHING OUT TO SLUM VULNERABLE CHILDREN

Dear friends
salama centre was started 2008 after skirmirshes in kenya as acommunity intiative to reach out to the vulnerable children in the slums of Nairobi and its sorrounding .Currentl we have 55 children who are receiving day care, food and education.
The main objective of this centre is to provide acquire land build a home, a school, a chapel and a medical facility to cater for their needs. We are currently operating from a makeshift as we look around for the well wishers to join our efforts in realizing this noble task.
